Οccult Black Metal band from Ioannina, Greece, formed in 1988.
The band is considered as one of the founding bands of the Greek Black Metal scene along with Rotting Christ, Thou Art Lord, Necromantia etc.
Varathron is Greek for “extremely deep gorge”.
